The road to Sochi for Cartel rider McRae Williams isn't without it's bumps. Last week at the Dew Tour McRae pulled-off a solid 9th place finish after dislocating his shoulder in qualifying. After qualifying for the finals of the Copper Mountain Grand Prix finals on Thursday, McRae is about to face the toughest field of riders to date.
In the latest WYPY Crew edit Rodo sadles-up with his fellow Jackson cowboys for a day of blasting the runs off Big Red. The WYPY edits are building a cult following for capturing big time pros like Travis Rice, Brian Iguchi and Mark Carter as they lark around with the rest of their buddies.

On Friday Cartel team rider McRae Williams battled through a tough Semi Final to qualify for today's final. Despite crashing-out during his second run, McRae's 1st run score of 81.4 was enough to place him in the top 16. The live finals start today at noon Eastern Time (6pm CET).

If you're in Breckenridge this evening, get yourself down to Washington Street to catch the Nike Street Style event. Last year Amplid Cartel rider Dash Kamp took home 4th spot with his smooth as butter style impressing the judges. Tonight Dash will be there again.

In four days the Dew Tour kicks off in Breckenridge, Colorado. For many of the riders competing in the contests the annual pilgrimage has begun. One such rider is Amplid Cartel rider McRae Williams whose car is speeding towards the Centennial State as you read this.
McRae has been showing promise as a slopestyle competitor for years. Last season McRae realised his dreams by taking gold at the European X-Games, Bronze at the Austrian Open and Gold at the Grandvallia Total Fight all within a month. ESPN recently caught-up with McRae.

Finnish Season Begins

Over the next couple of weeks ski resorts in the Northern Hemisphere will open in their hundreds. As they do our Team riders gradually stir into action with updates. New team signing Kevin Salonius shared a snap from opening day at his local hill.

Cordially Invited

It's not everyday that a Dew Tour invite arrives in the post. McRae was obviously so stoked to be invited to Breckenridge for one of the biggest 'invite only' contest of the year that he went all social media with a photo.
New team signing Markus Haka from Oulu in Finland has had a busy week. Two weekends ago he was in Helsinki filming for Amplid's new commercial and last weekend he was representing Amplid at the Board Expo Rail Jam.

Windy Dachstein Edit

Cold and windy with ice and poor visibility. Christoph Buchegger got the jackpot of terrible conditions up at Dachstein Glacier this weekend, but that didn't stop him enjoying some pre-season shredding.
Last night, while the rest of Europe was enjoying an extra hour of sleep, Amplid's team riders were out filming for a new Amplid commercial which will go live on Youtube in November.
Boarding the magnificent Caucasus Mountains, the same mountain range where the Sochi Winter Olympics will be held, lies Georgia, a country rich in culture and incredible snowboarding terrain. ARC rider Anderl Zissler journeyed there last winter to check it out.

Amplid co-founder Peter Bauer has recently gained total control of the company with the acquisition of 100% of the business. Amplid is a rider owned brand, and their proximity to the mountains allows for excellent R&D facilities.
This week the Freeride World Tour released its tour dates for the 13/14 winter season. After surviving his rookie season on the tour last winter, Cartel rider John Rodosky is ready to prove himself as a serious contender.
