Rookie Season Trailer

Rookie Season is a four part series following rookie Cartel rider Kevin Salonius on his adventures around Europe, experiencing new terrain and snow conditions and learning from his teammates. Here's the series trailer.
Last winter the Skli Club of Great Britain followed Amplid through the season for an insight into the workings of a hardware brand. From marketing to manufacturing, retail to R&D, this series will give you a real understanding of how Amplid opperates. Episode 1 covers the brand's story.
Newschoolers gear editor Twig took the all-new Antidote for a ride last month, in classic pre-season conditions, on the Stubai Glacier. It's hard for any ski to excel in early season conditions, so we were very stoked when the ski came-up trumps.

Amplid X Movember

Amplid is very proud to release a collaboration ski and snowboard with men's health charity the Movember Foundation. The limited edition products, based on the Creamer snowboard and Multiplayer ski, will increase awareness of men's health problems, such as testicular and prostate cancer, and raise funds for the charity to continue its work. Get yours while they're still available!
It's that time of year again when European Ski Publication Downdays gathers the public's votes to determine its "Skier of the Year". This year Cartel riders Julien Lange and Noah Albaladejo have been nominated and they need your vote!
The Cartel's Philip De Paoli just dropped his season edit and we think it shows just how good the young Vorarlberger is at taking freestyle tricks to the backcountry. Shot and edited by Adam Graf the edit is the perfect blend of great snowboarding and high quality cinematography.
Ever wondered what snowboard equipment was like 25 years ago? Peter Bauer climbs in the ARC's time machine and heads back to 1990, when the boards were stiff, the boots were hard and the clothing was much like an acid trip... but more colourful.
Unlike all other glaciers, Serena's latest addition hasn't been formed from millions of years of compacted ice and snow. Nope, the resort, situated on the outskirts of Helsinki, Finland, needed to test some snow cannons. Amplid riders Niklas and Kevin made the most of the temporary patch with other friends from TWENTYTWO Productions.
Reviewing snowboards is all about opinion and the Angry Snowboarder has more opinion to share than most reviewers. It's fortunate for us then that Angry loved the Pillow Talk, a fresh concept in powder board design.
This weekend, on the 17th and 18th of October, Amplid will be at the Gletscherfest in Pitztal with a fully equiped demo fleet so that interested skiers and snowboarders can try the gear and get themselves hooked on Amplid.
Another review from the folks at LeBonTest.fr translated with the help of Google and finessed with pure guess work. This time it was the turn of Amplid's new all-mountain ski, the Multiplayer, to be put through its paces.
The most awarded ski in the Amplid collection scoops more silverware for its trophy cabinet, this year it's from the guys at LeBonTest.fr. Read the whole interview, translated into English, here.
2015 was the second year in a row that Amplid has sent the Syntax to Skieur Magazine's annual ski test and it's the second year that the ski has been awarded a coverted "Tester's Choice" award. Maybe next year we'll make it a hat-trick!
Up and coming, Finnish slopestyle skier Daniel Antell has mind-blowing rail and kicker skills but what we didn't know is that he's pretty handing in the powder on his Syntax skis too. Daniel shared his season edit with us and it's pretty damn good!

Yearly, the Community Touring Club, a collective of die-hard skinners, puts the latest and greatest touring skis through their paces in the French Alps. We shipped them a pair of 15/16 Ego Trip Evolutions with its new ultra-light construction and this is what they had to say...
More great news from the world of splitboarding, this time from the kind chaps at european splitboard website Splitboarding.eu. Splitboarding.eu put the Milligram through it's paces in the Northern Alps of Germany and Austria and have selected it as one of their favourite boards of the 15/16 winter.
There's not much to look forward to in the summer when it comes to skiing, but there is one exception. Every summer Cartel team rider Kevin Salonius works on a rail edit on the set-up in his backyard and each year it's the standard by which all other summer edits are measured. 2015 was a good year!
The Milligram is a new splitboard in the Amplid collection for the 15/16 season. Building on the success of the now legendary LAB Carbon Split, the Milligram takes it's vaporweight construction and applies it to a new shape concept. Splitboard Mag voted it the MOST VERSATILE splitboard that they tested.
