Here comes ACT's review on this season's new kid on the block within the Future Shapes Series: The Psychonaut
This new freeride all-rounder completes the top-of-the-range Souly Grail. The support control is often on the centre, giving comfort and ease. We like the feel of the snow, which makes it fluid on all terrain.
Amplid offers a wide range of top-of-the-range freeriders. Added this year, it's a more affordable model. However, the philosophy remains the same as that of the Souly grail and Soulmate: fluid rounding in turns and fun, effective short supports. Technically more accessible, it can be controlled from the centre with comfort and balance.
Short, the fish tail bends easily, offering manoeuvrability and liveliness in powder. Its advantage is its liveliness when changing edge and in small turns, complemented by comfort on all types of snow.
